What we collect
- Account data: email address and account identifiers when you sign up/sign in.
- Warranty content: item names, dates, notes, and any files you attach (receipts, photos, PDFs, etc.).
- Payment data (if you subscribe): handled by our payment processors; we store subscription status.
Where your data is stored
- Offline mode: stored locally on your device in your browser/app storage.
- Cloud sync (optional): stored in our cloud database and file storage to sync across devices.
Third‑party services
Warranty Vault may use third‑party services to provide core functionality:
- Supabase for authentication and cloud database/storage.
- Stripe for web payments and subscription management.
- Resend for sending optional email reminders.
How we use your data
- Provide the app features (warranty tracking, storage, syncing, export, reminders).
- Maintain account and subscription status.
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse (e.g., monitoring errors and protecting infrastructure).
Data retention
- If you stay in offline mode, you control retention by clearing the app’s local storage.
- If you have an account, you can delete your account from within the app (see Account Deletion below).
Account deletion
You can delete your account and associated cloud data inside the app in Settings → Account → Delete Account.
You can also review account deletion instructions at /account-deletion/.
